Playhouse Coffee Roasting has recently changed owners and is now located in Talent, Oregon. Vince and Julee Lockett are the proud new owners. Playhouse Coffee will still be available in the Eugene and surrounding areas, as well as in Southern Oregon.
History
Playhouse Coffee Roasting was started in Eugene, Oregon by Dan and Dana Giles. After their kids outgrew their backyard playhouse, their coffee roasting hobby grew into it. The playhouse was the ideal laboratory for experimenting and perfecting the roasting craft. Thousands of batches later, they outgrew the playhouse just as their children once did. The Playhouse name was kept because it reminds us that creativity, fun and a willingness to try something new is just as important as consistency and attention to detail.
